Stimo Privacy Policy
uh-creations (“we” or “us”) describes below how information is handled in “Stimo” (the “App”).
1. Accounts and collection
The App does not require account registration. It has no feature that sends card titles, names, goals, records, photos, or videos you enter or import to our servers, and we do not access or collect their contents. These contents are also not passed as arguments to the advertising SDK.
The mobile App uses Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), which communicate with Google to serve ads and manage privacy choices. See section 5. The App uses no separate analytics SDK, purchase-management SDK, or external AI service.
2. Data stored on your device
The following information is stored on your device to display, record, edit, and configure the App:
- Card names, names assigned to cards, card types, goals, rewards, and required achievement counts
- Stamp and sticker entries, achievements, entry dates and times, completed cards, and reward fulfillment
- Custom-media names, copies of photos and videos, crop settings, and video playback ranges
- A saved copy of the custom-media details at the time an entry is placed on a card
- Character-use history, display language, the Stop motion setting, and other settings
- Whether the first-use introduction and advertising notice have been read, and any ad-personalization preference saved in Settings
- The number of successfully saved stamp or sticker entries and whether an operating-system review request has already been made
After eight successful entries, the App requests the operating system’s review screen once when you return to Home. The count and request status are stored on your device and are not sent to our servers or the advertising SDK. The operating system may choose not to display the screen. We do not ask for a particular star rating or a positive review. You decide whether to submit a review; submitted ratings and reviews are subject to the applicable store’s terms and policies.
The App has no App-provided cloud synchronization or online backup operated by us. If your operating system or a backup service you use saves or restores App data, that service's settings and policies apply.
3. Photos, videos, and permissions
Photos and videos you select are used to create and edit custom media and to display or play it on cards. On iOS and Android, new imports are resized and compressed on your device and saved as separate files in the App’s storage. New video designs save only the 1–5 second segment selected by you at a lower resolution and play silently. To use another segment of the original video, import the original video again. The App does not modify or delete your original photos and videos or media already saved on cards.
The App uses operating-system photo and video permissions or a system picker as needed. Selected media is not sent to our servers. You can change permissions in your device settings. If the operating system downloads selected media from a cloud photo service you use, that service's settings and policies apply to the connection and information handling.
4. Editing and deletion
You can edit and delete cards and custom media in the App. Removing custom media from the library retains photos, videos, names, crop settings, and playback ranges already recorded on a card so that those entries can still be displayed. Editing custom media also leaves past card entries unchanged. App-owned media files are removed after neither cards nor the custom library reference them.
Character-use history remains after a card is deleted to preserve used and unused filters. To delete all local App data, use the operating system's App-data deletion function or uninstall the App. Manage and delete operating-system or cloud backups and original photos and videos in their respective locations.
5. Advertising and privacy choices
On iOS and Android, the App displays compact Google AdMob banner ads at the top of Home, stamp and sticker card screens, and the Custom creation screen, directly below the status bar, and directly below the title in the completed album. Ads are separated from controls by a divider and spacing. Ads are hidden while recording entries, in selection screens, while selecting, importing, or editing photos or videos, and while completion messages are displayed. The Web and desktop versions do not run the advertising SDK. Ad requests use a G-rated maximum content rating.
In version 1.0.0 and later, the first-use advertising notice explains the Google or operating-system permission and choice screens that may be shown when needed. Tapping “Got it” does not give consent to ad personalization or tracking. Google UMP and operating-system screens collect consent and choices when required. Earlier versions may ask you to allow or decline personalized ads within the App.
In version 1.0.0 and later, if no in-app preference has been set, the App follows Google UMP and operating-system choices and restrictions. Selecting “Don’t allow” in Ad personalization in Settings adds a restriction: the App requests non-personalized ads even if Google or the operating system permits personalization. A “Don’t allow” preference saved in an earlier version is also preserved. Selecting “Allow” does not remove Google or operating-system restrictions. The preference is saved on your device and applied to actual ad requests. Settings shows whether the App is requesting non-personalized ads or following device and Google settings.
Personalized ads may be selected for you using past activity and other information handled by Google. Non-personalized ads are not selected using your past behavior; they may use your general location or information available when an ad is displayed. Neither mode sends card titles, names, goals, records, photos, or videos to us or the advertising SDK.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may send the following information to Google for advertising, frequency management, reporting, service improvement, and fraud prevention:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location
- Information identifying the device or App, including app- or developer-bounded identifiers
- The iOS advertising identifier (IDFA), when App Tracking Transparency permission is granted
- SDK interaction and usage information, such as ad impressions, ad interactions, and app launches
- Performance and diagnostic information, such as crashes, launch time, hangs, and energy usage
The App does not request location permission to obtain GPS location. On iOS, version 1.0.0 and later checks App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission after Google UMP permits ad requests, unless the in-app preference is “Don’t allow.” Earlier versions check ATT after you select “Allow” within the App. If ATT is undetermined, the App requests the operating-system prompt. Personalized ads are permitted only when ATT is authorized and Google's requirements are met. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may then use the advertising identifier (IDFA). If ATT is denied, restricted, not authorized, or its status cannot be read, the App requests non-personalized ads without including IDFA in ad requests. ATT choices are managed in iOS Settings. On Android, the App remains configured not to use the AD_ID permission for access to the advertising ID.
Restricting advertising-ID access does not eliminate other app- or developer-bounded identifiers or information needed for communication. Non-personalized advertising still involves transmission and use of information for ad delivery, reporting, fraud prevention, and similar purposes.
Google UMP checks privacy-choice status and shows explanations and choices when required by your region or applicable law. Non-personalized ads may also require consent checks. The App initializes the advertising SDK and requests ads only after confirming that ad requests are permitted. Fetching privacy-choice status and displaying these messages also require communication with Google. UMP and related components save and manage your Google privacy choices on your device. When a privacy-options entry is required, you can revisit your choices through Ad privacy choices in Settings.
Core features, including creating cards, recording achievements, and saving data, remain available when ads are unavailable, there is no connection, or privacy-choice gathering fails. Ad consent or interaction is not a condition for recording achievements or enjoying rewards.
For Google’s information handling, retention, processing outside your country, settings, and rights, see the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising privacy information. See also Google AdMob’s explanation of ad personalization and Google Mobile Ads’ guidance on the iOS advertising identifier and ATT.
6. Information provided in support requests
The in-app contact action opens a draft in your email app containing the App version. It does not send anything to us automatically. You decide whether to send it and whether to add or change the contents.
If you send us an inquiry by email or another contact method, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include or attach. We use it to respond, provide support, investigate problems, and consider feature improvements. You do not need to send photos, videos, or card contents.
7. External services and diagnostics
Distribution, updates, and operating-system features are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the Apple App Store, Google Play, or your device provider. Depending on your operating-system and store settings, their standard functions may provide us with crash logs or diagnostic information such as operating-system and device types. The App does not send usage history to an analytics server operated by us.
When you access the website containing legal documents or an email service, those providers may handle information needed for the connection. Card contents and custom media are not automatically sent to them.
8. Third-party disclosure and security
We do not sell or disclose personal information obtained through inquiries or similar contacts to third parties except with your consent or as required by law. Where service providers, such as email providers, process information for support, we use them only as needed and seek to ensure appropriate management. We take necessary measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage, including limiting access to information we handle.
9. Access, correction, and other requests
Contact us below to request notification of purposes of use, access, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or similar action concerning personal information we hold. We will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law. We cannot access cards, photos, or videos stored only on your device; please manage those using your device.
10. Intended audience and minors’ privacy
The App is intended for general users, primarily adults, and is not primarily directed at children. Minors should use the App with a parent or guardian's consent and supervision. If we learn that we have improperly obtained personal information from a child, we will investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy to reflect changes in law or App features. Material changes and their effective date will be clearly announced in the App or on our website, and we will obtain consent when required by law.
